What personal data we collect and why we collect it:

This is the section where we should note what personal data we collect from users and site visitors.

We really don’t collect any data from you, even in our analytics software, your IP address is rendered useless to us because we don’t track the last segment of it.

We do collect data when you buy something from us, so we can get you your order, give you a refund, or send you your goodies again in case you lose them.

By default WordPress, the software we use does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users, and unless you are family you aren’t able to become a registered user.

Comments:

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This has been common practice for YEARS.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Currently you can ONLY leave a comment using the FACEBOOK COMMENT option. And if you do that, then your comment may or may not show up on facebook, depending on the boxes you tick and your facebook settings.

Contact forms:

We do not use contact forms, so you don’t have to worry about us collecting data on you with those. You can email us at anytime at freenevillegoddard@gmail.com – and of course – what information you send us – we will have.

Cookies:

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

By using our websites and apps (through any device) you agree that this use of cookies applies to that use in addition to any other terms and conditions which may apply.

Cookies are small text files that are sent to and stored on your computer, smartphone, tablet or other device for accessing the internet, whenever you visit a website or use our on-line apps.

Cookies are used to maintain the integrity of your browsing activities when you visit a website and can also be used to customise and so improve the individual customer experience.

Cookies do not in any way compromise the security of your computer. You can continue to use this website with no loss of functionality if you choose to disable cookies on your computer. However, use of Namaste websites and applications requires cookies to be enabled in order for our services to function securely and correctly.

Session Cookies

Session cookies last only for the duration of your visit and are deleted when you close your browser. They are essential for secure user navigation through the site and enable the delivery of basic functionality.

Analytics Cookies

Finally, we use analytics cookies to help us make our websites even better for those who visit them regularly. This type of cookie helps us to further understand how individual visitors use our on-line services and allows us to improve the overall service and products offered to you.

Embedded content from other websites:

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. This could include FACEBOOK or youtube.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics:

We use GOOGLE ANALYTICS on our website to track how we are doing.

By default WordPress does not collect any analytics data. However, many web hosting accounts collect some anonymous analytics data. You may also have installed a WordPress plugin that provides analytics services. In that case, add information from that plugin here.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS:

You may wish to subscribe to push notifications from our website.

If you do, we use a service called PUSHCREW.

1. Anonymize IP address: By default, PushCrew never captures the full IP address of any of the visitors on your website. The last octet of the IP addresses is deleted to ensure that these are rendered completely anonymous.
2. Consent: Web Push Notifications already require website visitors to give explicit consent by turning on the browser-level permission.
3. Subscriber data: After accepting to receive notifications, the push notification service of the browser creates a randomly generated ID for the subscriber. This ID cannot be used to identify a particular individual.
